Seniors Meetings

Seniors meetings are commencing back from 12th March on every second Saturday of the month from 1 pm to 4pm at Grevillea Hall,2 Lane street, Wentworthville.

These meetings-

  • Encourage socialization to combat isolation and loneliness.
  • Assist them to remain well both physically and mentally
  • Inform them of their privileges and rights andto help them in settling down and understanding the Australian way of life.

This group is very active and has grown in numbers with about 80 to 100 people attending every meeting. Most of the members are retired or semi-retired, many from India who came to join their sons or daughters, leaving behind their life-long connections.

We invite experts and speakers from different walks of life, — Medical, Law, Yoga, Health, Diet, Music, Social and Cultural. Most of the important events and festivals, including Baisakhi, Diwali, Australia Day, India’s Republic Day are celebrated by us. Members’ Birthdays and marriage anniversaries are remembered and celebrated.
